This sketch was created for
all those golf nuts out there.
My son, Trevor was in my
thoughts as I wrote a couple
of these verses.  People that
know my children, know they
are all boy, (now grown men).
These words fit them.
Just a sample of the many
sketches I have created.

Garden Sketches
Long ago I began
my writing ability
in the wonderful
world of poetry. I
have several
poetry books that
I have written
over the years. I
wrote this poem
for my eldest son,
(the avid hunter
and fisherman). In
finishing the
poem I already
knew what picture
I wanted to sketch
onto the poem,
the mighty Elk.
Last year I took
this art piece to
my fair and the
picture won, 1st
place, Grand
Champion and
reserved
Champion. Three
large hanging
ribbons from the
frame caught me
off guard, guess
everyone liked it.
The judge wrote
a lengthly note
admiring my
poetic words. I
plan to give this
picture to my son
upon purchasing
his first home.
