A little tree for Shelby

In the corner of my garden
stands a little tree.
Its branches not quit strong enough
to hold the love in me.
I’ve watched the little roots begin
to spread to the unknown,
and before I know it
the little tree will be all grown.
It gives me  joy, a laugh or two
and a smile upon my face,
to watch the little tree sprout blossoms,
with all its stamina and grace.
A little plaque rests beside the tree
with these simple words for all to see,

“A little tree for Shelby” is all it’s to be.
Garden Poetry
Take The Thyme
A few years back I sat down and started to write some poetry. Then I put
them into books and these are a few of my favorites. Hope you enjoy!
