This is where it all started, from one lady I named 'Lilly' came the other ladies that I have
designed. Each take several hours to complete, but the detail is what everyone is pleased
with. I am a perfectionist for detail. Since each one is so uniquely created, there are no two
exactly alike. Close and with the same idea, but not a carbon copy by any means. You can't
buy these in any store, I make them myself and now I have placed them on my website for
others to see. Each art piece begins with a hand painted lady. Maybe she is carrying a
bouquet of flowers or holding a parasol. Each picture is unique in that I add whatever it
takes to bring the picture alive. Gowns in the late 1800's to early 1900's were magnificent
and featured satin, silk, taffeta, chiffon, velvet, tulle, grosgrain, fine gauze and faille.
Crocheted shawls to ruffling capes. Colorful ostrich plumes and cock feathers adorn many of
the hats. Shoes either laced or buttoned and every lady wore gloves. Fancy fans, silk
handkerchiefs and beaded purses. The opulence and exquisite tailoring of the gowns and
accessories truly made the lady wearing them walk with grace and elegance. It has been my
hope that the pictures that I create will take one back to this period in time and be a lovely
work of art to be displayed in any home. Please click the
