Well, here we go again! My yellow Canary laid her first egg this morning. I'm so excited. After about three full days of building her nest, she finally decided it was ready. Her mate, Sir Lord of Basalt has been helping all along the way. In about 14 days I should have baby Canaries. This is the first to about four more for her to produce. This morning she got a full breakfast of lots of protein. Tweetybird is very special. I'll try to sneak a picture of her on the nest.

Years ago I raised Canaries and never thought I'd be doing it again, but after getting my singing Canary I wanted to give him a mate, so now we have a couple and a family on the way.
