Out of four eggs only two baby canaries were born, but they are adorable. Only about two weeks old and just waiting to fly down out of the nest. I haven't named them yet other than to call them Peat and repeat. They look alike and do everything the same. Once they travel down out of the nest they are still relying on parents to feed them. Mama and Daddy are close by and continue to do their parenting tasks.
I really enjoy them at this age, you can hold them and pet them. Don't know how many more Mama will have, but for now these little feathered friends are a joy to have around.
