We all know the saying, "Stop and smell the roses". Well, today while I was painting the house I had to stop and smell my beautiful Lilac blooms. I have waited 2 years for this small Lilac bush to take off and bloom. There is nothing more refreshing than the lavendar smell of these flowers.

Then I had a surprise visit from my neighbors feathered friends as a few chickens decided to come by the fence and watch me paint. Just another day in my wonderful world of nature all arround me.

While I'm at it I'll share the pictures I took last night of my Azeleas and the snow ball bush with their pretty blooms.
