Get ready people, it's now May and flowers are popping up all over the place. The saying April showers bring May flowers (and in my case snow showers) due bring more than moisture, it brings the first early flowers up from below the ground. I have noticed that all my Columbines have really taken off already.

Must have been from all the water we have had and the manure I sprinkled around them last year. Get your garden boots or shoes out as there are always bees flying near the dandelions in the grass. Yesterday while cleaning out my greenhouse my little Dachshund dog, named Beanie found the tiniest little frog hopping around in the greenhouse. I have Chives, Spearmint and Basil already growing in the greenhouse from last years supply.
